Meris Gantt

Meris Gantt is an Indie Folk singer and songwriter based out of the North Carolina mountains.

Meris moved to Boone, North Carolina in 2005 and began exploring her passion for songwriting.

She co-founded the Boone based band Mountain Radio in 2011, eventually melding into her current project Handlebar Betty. They released their independently produced EP "Garage Apartment" in 2020.

As the years have passed, Gantt has become a symbol of the power of music to transform, uplift, and heal. Her songs tell tales of love, loss, and redemption that speak to the universal truths that bind us all together.

With "Forced Revival," Gantt continues to guide her fans down the winding roads of their own lives, sparking a flame of hope, inspiration, and wonder.

More recently, she joined forces with musician/singer/songwriter Devin Lacey. Their styles range from bluegrass and americana to soul and blues, with just a touch of rock and roll.
